We had the absolute pleasure of working with Fujifilm, shooting for their hybrid instant camera – mini Evo Cinema.
If you haven’t come across it yet, the mini Evo Cinema is a bit of a triple threat: instant camera, video camera, and smartphone printer all wrapped up in one beautiful package.
Our brief? Capture a suite of clean, polished promotional images for the website, alongside a collection of lifestyle shots that would really resonate with the camera’s creative, style-savvy audience.
No pressure then. 😉
We got stuck in right from the beginning—this was a full-service project for us. From early-stage creative planning and moodboard building (think bold colours, cinematic lighting, and a touch of vintage cool), through to sourcing props, scouting locations, and finding the perfect models to bring everything to life.

The lifestyle side of the shoot was where we were able to take a more creative approach involving dramatic, abstract setups. We played with high-contrast lighting, bold colours, and deep shadows to create a moody, dramatic feel.
Then we balanced that with more grounded, environment-based scenes. Think real-life moments—friends hanging out, snapping shots, printing memories on the go. These images helped tell the story of how the mini Evo Cinema fits into everyday life, not just as a gadget, but as a creative companion.

As a Derby-based studio, we pride ourselves on bringing energy and personality to every project—and this one was no exception. It was colourful, collaborative, and just a lot of fun to be part of.

Big thanks to Fujifilm for trusting us with yet another cool product. Now if you’ll excuse us, we’re off to find excuses to print more tiny photos… 📸
